It's Summer!!!
By Gary Leogrande I know. You’re probably thinking “ Leogrande’s off his rocker, it is still cold outside and far away from Summer.” Let me give some perspective: In the Residential Real Estate business many transactions involve financing. For purchases that do involve financing it typically takes 60 to 90 days to close a transaction from the time the Seller accepts the Buyer’s offer. Well, 90 days from now brings us to June, hence the Summer comment. Yes, sales that we are presently negotiating are involving May and June closings. This means you need to plan and act now if you want to be able to close over the Summer. For people who wait until May or June to get a house on the market it may be too late. It can still be done. It just gets a little trickier regarding timing. If you know anyone looking to Sell this year, please have them call me today. We are experiencing diminished inventory of houses for sale and increased Buyer traffic due to low Mortgage Interest rates. This is the best market in years and we anticipate it continuing for the next few months. Please call me today to discuss your own circumstances. 7 Tips to Enhance Your Living Room on a Budget
You can easily upgrade and improve your living room for less than you may think. The following tips will show you where to start.
Use Curtains, Not Blinds Blinds may be inexpensive, but they can also look cheap. White plastic blinds give a sterile, low-quality look to the room. Remember, window treatments are a type of decoration and they can set the whole tone for the room. Switching your blinds for curtains will help soften up a room's edges and add a pop of color.
Paint the Trim Is painting an entire room too much work or too expensive? Just paint the trim instead. Painting only the trim will allow you to save on both paint... Read More |
